E X P O [ S E] is a solo body contemporary dance exploration on the manifestations of culture-making on the body. It examines how the Filipino body is exploited in reimagining/recreating “Filipino” culture through embodiment and performance. It is an exposition on the clamour for authentic Filipino identity and heritage as products within the local and global economic arts markets , as represented by my own vessel as an artist.
